Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop patient care plans for emergency patients across all age groups
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless patient care transitions
- Document clinical observations and interventions using our EMR system with 99% accuracy
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and state nursing regulations
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue emergencies
- Precept new nurses and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree with 2+ years ER experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued
