Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in fast-paced emergency setting
- Assess, diagnose, and develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana RN license
- BSN degree (ADN with 2+ years ER experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1-2 years ER nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- EMR proficiency (EPIC preferred)
