Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients of all ages using evidence-based practices
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions with electronic health records (EHR)
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nevada
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency department or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
