Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient assessment and care in emergency situations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care plans
- Participate in trauma resuscitation and emergency procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN license (active and unrestricted)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
