Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency settings, including trauma stabilization and critical interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize triage based on acuity levels
- Utilize electronic health records for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
- Mentor new nursing staff and students to foster professional growth
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
