Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop patient care plans in fast-paced emergency settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
- Mentor junior nursing staff to enhance team capabilities
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- 2+ years emergency department experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (or obtain within 90 days)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
