Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop care plans for ER patients across all acuity levels
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists during emergency interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately in our Epic EHR system
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA regulations
- Participate in rapid response and trauma resuscitation protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ER experience in Level I/II trauma center
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
