Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans in emergency settings
- Administer medications, treatments and emergency interventions per protocols
- Monitor vital signs, interpret diagnostic results and respond to critical changes
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue responses
Qualifications
- Current Michigan RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ED or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments
