Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in high-acuity emergency settings
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic procedures with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care plans
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
