Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments and interventions in fast-paced emergency settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA regulations
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for efficient patient record management
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (compact license accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience with ED preference
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and triage abilities
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
