Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and assessing health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Respond to medical emergencies with calmness and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Illinois.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- CPR and BLS certification (ACLS preferred for certain units).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients (if applicable).
