Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses to care accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care support as needed.
Qualifications
- Current RN license issued by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred but not mandatory for hire).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
