Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting all findings accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) required at time of hire.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Willingness to cross-train in various nursing specialties.
