Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vitals and report any significant changes in condition to the charge nurse immediately.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Assistive Care: Provide direct patient care, including hygiene assistance, mobility support, and emotional support to patients and families.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience: No prior clinical experience required; we offer entry-level opportunities for new graduates.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
