Responsibilities
- Patient Monitoring: Conduct thorough assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and wellbeing.
- Clinical Care: Assist physicians and charge nurses with daily procedures, wound care, and medication administration.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely update electronic health records (EHR) to maintain comprehensive patient histories.
- Communication: Act as a vital link between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency codes within the department.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Maintain a clean, safe environment and provide personal hygiene assistance to patients as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. Recent clinical rotations are a plus.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency and knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and a strong work ethic.
