Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes or emergencies to the charge nurse or provider.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication adherence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Provide direct bedside care and emotional support to patients during their hospital stay.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and ACLS certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed (30 lbs+).
