Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via secure telehealth platforms and phone calls.
- Monitor patient health status in real-time and collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop optimal treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments remotely where applicable, ensuring strict safety protocols.
- Document patient interactions, symptoms, and care plans accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide health education and resources to patients and families to promote wellness and disease prevention.
- Respond to urgent medical inquiries and escalate critical cases immediately to on-site clinical staff.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience (Critical Care, ICU, or Telehealth preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic health record systems (EHR).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote consultation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high attention to detail.
- Crisis management and critical thinking skills under pressure.
