Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans tailored to patient needs and recovery goals.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate seamless patient care transitions.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with hospital regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and staff.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help patients recover.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
