Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans under the supervision of senior staff.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical condition.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient data, care provided, and responses to treatment in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Emergency Response: Assist in responding to medical emergencies and implementing emergency protocols as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently holds or is eligible for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: No prior clinical experience required; New Graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
