Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to strict medical protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient education regarding health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure comfort and hygiene.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and legible medical records and documentation in electronic health systems.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and assist in emergency situations as needed.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or MSN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients safely.
- No prior professional experience required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
