Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and safety
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control procedures and maintain a sterile environment
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Missouri (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Recent nursing graduates or nurses with less than 1 year of experience encouraged
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
