Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to determine nursing care needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient charts.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and physicians to ensure continuity of care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in code situations.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred for entry-level roles.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
