Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with physician orders.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts.
- Emotional Support: Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment.
