Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient observations and interventions in electronic health records
- Assist in emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions as needed
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Active Illinois RN license (or eligible upon hire)
- Completion of clinical rotation program or new graduate status
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
