Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using systematic evaluation protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with precision
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions
- Respond to critical situations using ACLS/PALS protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ER experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 1 year emergency department experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
