Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment and intervention for trauma patients
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs in critical care settings
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient care using EMR systems
- Implement infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Participate in trauma resuscitations and code blue events
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- 2+ years ER/trauma experience preferred
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to work high-pressure situations
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
