Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions with precision and attention to detail
- Administer medications and treatments safely while maintaining accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license in good standing
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC experience a plus)
