Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and general wards
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment protocols
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license eligible for Florida endorsement)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required) with PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing shift schedules and patient needs
