Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and medical observations
- Assist with patient safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams to implement personalized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Support patient comfort and emotional well-being during overnight hours
- Coordinate with family members regarding patient needs and updates
Qualifications
- Active Arizona CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays
