Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Monitor patient progress and respond to critical changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN preferred; associate degree candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care or specialty unit
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC experience highly valued)
- Flexibility to rotate shifts and adapt to changing patient needs
