Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, food intake, and behavioral changes
- Administer medications under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments following infection control standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team to implement personalized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of long-term care experience
- Flexibility to work alternating weekends (Sat/Sun)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
