Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care in compliance with Florida nursing regulations and hospital protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety-focused protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient/family education on health management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR systems
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control measures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required; ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certification; PALS preferred for emergency department roles
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care setting
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
