Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient health and promptly report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
