Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, OSHA guidelines, and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency care situations
- Maintain infection control standards and sterile techniques
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (new grads welcome with residency program)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- CPR certification required
