Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration in accordance with nursing protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA safety standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and unit-based quality improvement initiatives
- Adapt to flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or Diploma)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
