Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse units including med-surg, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety standards
- Participate in rapid response team activations during emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nebraska (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
- Recent nursing graduates from accredited programs are strongly encouraged to apply
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain during orientation)
- Strong communication skills with ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Compassionate approach to patient-centered care
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health record systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
