Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with care teams via telehealth platforms
- Maintain accurate electronic health records remotely
- Support patients with cognitive impairments using specialized techniques
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning sessions
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year acute care or geriatric experience
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Proficiency with telehealth documentation systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Clear background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for remote tasks
