Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and patient safety guidelines.
- Monitor and record patient vitals, symptoms, and progress, promptly reporting any changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide compassionate education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and self-care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient interactions and care activities.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
