Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Utilize EMR systems for documentation and patient data management
- Provide patient education and support for treatment adherence
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment interventions
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (compact license holders welcome)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, medication administration, and critical care
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
