Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and make sound clinical judgments under pressure.
