Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating concerns immediately.
- Document patient care activities, responses to treatment, and clinical findings accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
