Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical exams, and health screenings.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition or symptoms immediately.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN License in Tennessee or Georgia.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Previous experience in Medical-Surgical, ICU, or Telemetry preferred.
