Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and following hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition, documenting changes and reporting any deviations to the medical team promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical rotation experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
