As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the health and well-being of our community.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms to detect changes in condition, reporting significant findings to the medical team.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, patient education, and emotional support.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred based on unit.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
