Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough physical examinations and accurate patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of illness or injury.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with healthcare protocols and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and self-care techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and medical charts in a timely manner.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting required.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
