Responsibilities
- Provide direct and compassionate patient care, monitoring vital signs and assessing health conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform triage duties as required.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or ICU experience a plus).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
