Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in specialized units (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Adhere to JCAHO and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active TN RN license (compact state eligible)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1+ years acute care experience
- Electronic health record proficiency (EPIC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
