Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals, assess conditions, and respond to emergent situations promptly
- Provide patient and family education on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and uphold HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact license with GA residency)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for specialized units
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system and clinical documentation
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
