Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, planning, and intervention in accordance with established standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient observations, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous performance reviews
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to unit-based professional development
Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse license (RN)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in medical-surgical or critical care
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
