Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret EKG rhythms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Washington RN license
- BSN degree (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong EHR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
